Netflix was established on August 29, 1997. Many people use it in the world, it has many movies and series that you can not see in the movie theaters. In 1999, it started to allow people to subscribe to it. There are more than 100,000 movies that people have available to watch. Also, Netflix has exceeded 10 million subscribers. Some people say that Netflix is like the movie version of KKbox. Other people say it's like a paid version of YouTube. The important thing is all of the movies on Netflix are genuine and are authorized. This basically reduces the amount of movies people are downloading illegally.

There are many advantages to Netflix. First, one account can use up to two or more computers and mobile devices at the same time. It depends on which program you choose. Second, if you are watching the movie on the computer and you want to change to use phone to watch it, it can be continued. This is because, Netflix can remember your play time history, not just for one movie, but for all movies. Third, it will recommend some movies to you, and the movie it recommend is depending on what movies you've watching before. Finally, people can watch as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, on any internet-connected screen. Basically, Netflix is very convenient.

I also use the Netflix account, but I didn't buy it. I use the 1 month free. I like to watch series, because I think it is more interesting than movies. The series I have been watching so far are, " You", " The 100 ", " Riverdale" and " The invisible guests", all of these movies and series are awesome. I remember that one times I forgot my account, and I called them to asked how to solve the problem. They are very patient and very kind. Netflix not only has the advantages, it also has some disadvantages. First, the quality of the Chinese subtitles are bad. For example, the character says " Friday ", but the subtitle writes Thursday. Secondly, there are not many movies in Netflix, most of them are series. Also you can not find the movies that are not very popular on it. iTunes and Google play movies have more choices than Netflix.

1. The 100

This is a series, is talking about 97 years ago there are the nuclear warfare, causing there are radiation everywhere in the Earth. So they move to the space station called " Ark ". Someday the air in the ark is not enough, so they need to find the place that suitable place to let people live, so they send 100 teenagers down to the Earth, to see if people can live there. But there are many problem that the teenagers need to solve in the Earth.

2. Riverdale

This also is the series, the story start from the high school student die near to the river. His death let many unknown secrets in riverdale come out. The interesting part in riverdale is people not easy to guess the direction of the whole play. Also the characters the play are very handsome. For example, Archie and Jughead.

3. You

This is the series that is talking about the librarian meet the girl in the library, after that day, he follow the girl everyday. He kill the people that will hurt the girl. But the girl doesn't know everything, so she fall in love with the boy. Finally, the girl find out what the boy truly is, she want to get away from the boy. But the boy love her don't want her go, so he isolated the girl in the room, and kill her. He kill her because no one can get the girl.

For me, I think if you really like American movies or series, you can buy it, but if you don't like to see those, I think you don't need to buy it, because it's a little expensive. Many people say that if you see many movies in one day, it won't be too expensive. For example, you go to movie theater watch one movie you need to pay more than 300, but you use Netflix to watch many movies for one month, you just need to pay 300 or maybe less than 300. I recommend people to watch in English version, it can improve your English. Also if you can understand English, not seeing the Chinese subtitles will really help your English listen skills.
