YouBike stations are becoming more popular in Taiwan, covering a lot of MRT stations in Taipei

YouBike is started in 2015, it is operates in a Public-private partnership, the first operating system is located in Taipei City. The advantage of it are if you return it back before 30 minutes, you don't need to pay money. Also it is very cheap. I think the best thing about YouBike is that don't need to return it back to the place you borrow, you can put it in any YouBike station. The Total number of YouBike rides so far is 281,976,428.

Scooters and cars makes the significant impact on the global greenhouse effect. The oxygen-ozone that comes out from scooters and car are causing the global agricultural losses of to ten of billion dollars. Also reduce the life span of the person. For example, when I was travel in Taipei, I always saw lots of scooters waiting for the traffic light, it was very unbelievable. 100 scooters and 100 bicycles on the same road, which one you think is better? Actually, I will think 100 bicycles are better, at least it will not cause bad effect. Also maybe the government can make the card like MRT one month 300nt and you can ride all the the time, it won't limit how many times you want to ride. I think this will make people want to use bicycle more. The Chairman of Giant, King Liu, whose company built and provided the UBike bicycles was quoted saying "If the distance of your commute is too far to walk, yet too near to drive, please consider using the YouBike sharing system. With frequent usage of the YouBike sharing system, we will improve our environmental landscape, reduce carbon emissions, and create a healthy lifestyle that will further improve the image of the capital city."
