"Haagen Dazs" is the ice cream brand that many people know, it has the very long history. It began in 1921 with Reuben Mattus, a young entrepreneur with a passion for quality and a vision for creating the finest ice cream. At first, he started to sell fruit ice cream on the New York street with his mother. In 1961 Mr. Mattus supported by his wife Rose, decided to create the new company. He called his new brand Häagen-Dazs. To express his respect for the traditional crafts and the quality and value of the pursuit. He started out with only three flavors: vanilla, chocolate and coffee. The Häagen-Dazs™ brand quickly developed a loyal following, It's success was created by word of mouth and praise. At first, it was just in New York, but soon distribution expanded throughout the east coast of the U.S.

It not only has many different flavored ice cream, it also has many different kinds of ice cream cake, each flavor has its own unique origins and rich story about what makes it so precious. It's classic flavor is "Belgium Chocolate" , The deep, dark, delicious chocolate ice cream in its smoothest form, which melts on your tongue, it taste very good, many people love it. It is available in pint, minicup and scoop. It has more than twenty flavors, whenever I go to eat ice cream, I always don't know what flavors I want to eat. Most of the people will buy the birthday cake in "Haagen Dazs" when they have a birthday, the cakes have more variety than other cake shops, it has many different kinds of cute cakes, many children love it. Although it is very expensive, but many people still want to buy it, because it really taste good.

My favorite ice cream flavor is "Cookies & Cream", it taste really good, it satisfies the milk-and-cookies kid in all of us, creamy vanilla ice-cream. It's like coming home again. Sometimes when this flavor doesn't have any more, I will choose "Mango & Passion Fruit", it is taste good, too, and we can eat some food in the ice cream, it is very joyous to eat in summer. When there have some important festivals it will have discount, like: Mother's Day and Father's Day.

"Haagen Dazs" is renowned for its superior quality and is about romance, reward and special moments all over the world. Now, is a global phenomenon and has a major presence in many countries,in North America, Europe, Greater China and Asia. And growing rapidly in the Middle East, India, Latin America and Africa. It has more than 900 Shops spread across 54 countries now, and especially in Taiwan!
